L4A global distribution data of CO2 flux, estimated from L2 CO2 column-averaged dry-air mole fraction data retrieved from the data observed by TANSO-FTS-2 onboard GOSAT-2, which was developed as a joint project by the Ministry of the Environment (MOE), the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

Notes | The L4A global CO2 flux is a product that stores monthly global CO2 surface fluxes estimated from the L2 CO2 column-averaged dry-air mole fraction (SWIR), ground-based observations, and other data using an atmospheric transport model. On Tellus, data in 'NetCDF' format, which is published by the GOSAT-2 Product Archive, is converted into 'Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF' format. |
